Trail Dusters

The Trail Dusters is a three book series from the year 1868 through 1869. The duo of Civil War veterans live during some of the roughest times of cattle drives, rustling, and outlaws. They must use their knowledge and skills to survive what lies ahead.
Summary of Outlaw Trail: Buck Carpenter owns a small ranch in Montana Territory in 1868 and all goes well until a badly wounded man shows up at his gate. He helps the man, and in return gets a wagon-load of danger that he didn’t bargain for. When all goes wrong, can he trust this man with his life?
